Foot anaplastology for diabetic foot.

Starting from the cast of the patient’s stump, I sculpted the foot in plasticine according to its functionality.

For the mold I used the epoxy gelcoat layered with resin and glass fibers. I separately created a filling foam for the inside of the foot and the toe and inserted it into the mold together with the plaster stump and closed everything. Finally I injected the pre-colored platinum silicone inside the mold.

Once catalyzed, the functional foot was ready for testing.
